NYU FRAT RANKINGS 2016

New York University.... not your "typical" school... AT ALL. I'm a transfer student from USC, a school that is infamous for it's crazy & wild parties and football tailgates. Why did I transfer? I'm always about change... and to live in NYC at such a young age is an amazing opportunity.

With that being said, I know what a good party is. I know how to point out a good frat. However, do keep in mind that even though a frat at NYU is considered "top" or "middle" tier, it won't be the same type of thing you've seen in movies. Although different, I still advise freshies to Rush... it's so easy to get lost in such a big city, but being part of an organization helps you find a #fam. So now that you know that's that.... let's get to it.

After one semester at NYU, I've been able to visit many parties. Although I'm not in a sorority myself, I have many friends in the top sororities in NYU. So #1 on the list, is....

There's no #1. Why? There are several different factors. So what I will do is name the top three.

Top Tier

Pike (Pi Kappa Alpha ):

I've heard a lot about Pike. Mostly good. I went out to a couple of the parties they had in the local college bars around campus. Most of the guys I've met were total frat dudes... which is not what you expect at NYU. This fraternity is huge.. which always means great networking opportunities. However, the biggest downside is that the younger guys are not so good looking. The boys pledging Pike now a days are not what they used to be. No doubt this has definitely decreased their ranking, and trust me, the sororities have noticed this. Not good Pike, step your game up.

FIJI (Phi Gamma Delta) :

"Didn't really fuck with me way back then, well how bout now?"

This is the FIJI 2.0. They have some great guys. I always see the same face, but that is not always a bad thing. These kids are always up to something new. FIJI's last pledge class was pretty good, would rate 8/10. And the brother's overall are also not just good looking guys but individuals you can actually have a conversation with. I mean, this is NYU, you need more than just looks to impress a girl. They're also pretty great nation wide, top 3, and they were one of my favorite houses at USC #fighton.

Zeta Psi

Zeta Psi is very mysterious to me... which I like. The boys are a bit serious, but can also party. Look up their greek week skit, "Zeteflix", it's hilarious. The only down side I see to these boys is that they can be so serious, which is different to me. The fraternities I knew back at USC were wild and clowns. Always acting like college kids. But Zeta Psi not a typical fraternity, which I guess is a good fit for some of the kids at NYU, who are all about "business".

Mid TIER

ZBT (Zeta Beta Tau):
ZBT guys are sweethearts. I haven't really had the opportunity to hang out with these guys a lot, but when I do, it's a sweet time. There are the type of guys you marry after you get f----d over by a f--k boy. At times they can be a little bit too nice, but I learned that is never a bad thing. They're a very inclusive frat as well, which is awesome. They really challenge the stereotype of a typical "frat". Great job boys.

And here are the rest (Haven't heard much of the other ones):

A major tip: NEVER RUSH AN INACTIVE FRAT.

It seems like people would know not to do this, but some freshmen are just dumb.
